Dinurog Ng PNP Ang Mga Sand Castle Sa Boracay Matapos Malamang Walang Mga Permit Ito

January 12, 2018

Not many of us have heard about the Municipal Ordinance No. 246, Series of 2007 of Malay, Aklan stating there should be no tinkering with the natural terrain of the beach because activities such as building a sandcastle may “affect the natural symmetry of the beach.” Recently, the Boracay Tourist Assistance Center (BTAC) took down illegal sand castles used as photo backdrops. BTAC Chief Jose Mark Anthony Gesulga revealed that they are doing rounds to see if sand artworks are registered. Those who will not comply with the law has to pay a fine of PHP 2,500 for the first offense.source:youtube
