We overheard that YouTube sensation Coby Persin wanted to raise awareness about child marriage so he dressed up a 12-year-old girl and a 65-year-old man as bride and groom respectively in the middle of Times Square, New York. This video which was uploaded on his YouTube channel entitled as “Child Marriage Social Experiment” gained a whopping amount of almost 20,000,000 views. In the clip, many people can be seen shocked during the act. Many approached the “couple” to ask where the girl’s mother is in which the old man played along with and responded that her parents gave him permission to marry her.
