In an interview, Kris Aquino revealed that Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista proposed to him twice. According to her, the first time he did, he backed out of the marriage last April 8, 2014. During the second time, the Queen of All Media accepted the ring yet returned it the next day not because she wanted to take revenge but because she remembered that the both of them have responsibilities that came before they met.  Kris said that if he will propose again, it better be in 2019 after his term ends.source:youtube
