GMA7 aired “Munting Heredera,” a drama series about a rich old woman looking for her rightful heiress or heredera among the children who claimed to be her granddaughter. One of these is then child star Barbara Miguel who portrayed Calila. After several regular shows and various stints, she suddenly disappeared from the limelight. In an interview with PEP, Barbara revealed that she is focusing on her studies that’s why she took a break from showbiz. She is now a first year high school student at Victory Christian International School.
