Facebook user Gracel Ann Hukdong recently narrated the story of her deceased aunt Liezl Trus Hukdong who suffered a tragic fate in Kuwait. In order to warn other overseas Filipino workers, she shared a few disturbing photos of the late Hukdong. Last December 19, 2017, Liezl’s employer called Gracel and reported that the former committed suicide. Since they couldn’t believe she was capable of doing such act, the Hukdongs took their concern to the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration to hear further information about the matter. Apparently, the OWWA was also shocked to find out that no one called them to declare the death. The remains of Liezl also bore lots of bruises and wounds which indicated that she’d in fact suffered a horrible fate in the hands of her employer.
