A tribe in Indonesia named Toraja tribe is doing an uncommon ritual of bonding with the dead. They dig them up and bond with them as if they are still alive. They mummify the dead so that when they dig them up there are still whole body figures of their loved ones. They take pictures with them, eat with them, have festivals with them. They want to do this because they want to spend some quality time with their deceased loved ones. They call this the “Ma’nene” ritual.source:youtube
