It’s not unusual that millions of devotees take part in the Translacion of the Black Nazarene each year despite the scorching heat. But, what’s unusual is that lots of people who participated in the procession gatecrashed a private event just to haul food and drinks served on the buffet table. In an interview with CNN Philippines, the homeowners revealed that they always keep the gates open to see the event but it’s the first time that they experience inconvenience with the swarm of devotees.
